15 minutes Italian garden pasta

Sometimes you only need a simple dinner and this is one of my favorites, especially in summer, when the tomatoes have their top aroma. However, you do not have to be a gardener to enjoy these pasta. It’s hard to have a green finger. It doesn’t even have to be summer! With only 6 ingredients and only 15 minutes to do, you can take a dinner that feels fresh in the garden in the shortest time!

Ingredient notes

  • Extra virgin olive oil: Use a good quality cold pressed olive oil. You will not cook this oil. You will want to taste the bright, sometimes pepper, olive aroma.

  • Garlic: The freshly chopped garlic offers the best aroma, but the chopped garlic also works. Jarred has only a less sweet, slightly bitter aroma.
  • Reds: Use any red you like, enough for about 2 cups. Dice in small pieces with bite dimensions.
  • Fresh basil: Cut the basil leaves fresh or sliced ​​into ribbons. Stack several fresh basil leaves on top of each other, then rotate the long bouquet and cut it into slices and voil – perfect basil strips.

Any type of garden variety tomatoes would work in this recipe, but the fresher and more aromatic. You cannot make mistakes with a few good inheritance tomatoes here or with a few big succulent beef.

Add vegetables

If you want to add additional nutrition to this Easter vessel, try to add in some steamed vegetables. The asparagus and spinach are both great options. You can easily steam the asparagus in the microwave in a steam bag and you can find them even packaged in the grocery store. The spinach can be thrown even without cooking.
