Ingredient notes

- Rotini paste: Rotini is excellent to grab all that dressing. No rotins? Use another short pasta such as Fusilli or Penne.
- Ground beef: We like to use 80/20 beef for the best aroma. Turkey crushed or the chicken works and if you want a little easier.
- Cheddar cheese: Sharp Cheddar brings a bit of extra fist, but honestly, any cheese you love will work. Pepper Jack would be great if you want a little shot.
- Cherry tomatoes or grapes: Whatever is perfect. Cut it in half or quarters so you get the perfect bite. A mixture of red and yellow tomatoes looks very nice.
- Black beans: Give it a good rinse and leak to prevent things from driving.
- Preserved corn: Total fine to use directly from the box, but you can also use freshly gross corn or frozen corn.
- Red onion: Red onion is the best to eat raw.
- Jalapeño: Total optional! Fresh jalapeños adds a beautiful spicy crunch or uses pickles for a little less heat.
- Bacon: Remove it! Cook your own or grab a kind of cooking.
- Green salsa: Catch a jar from your favorite or medium favorite green salsa. Use any level of heat you like.
- Lemon juice: Fresh-Squeezed will always have the best aroma, but also bottled lemon juice it works.
Adjust the heat
One of the best things about Cowboy pasta is how easy it is to adjust the spice. If you are in the heat, grab a hot salsa, increase the chili powder and throw some extra slices on top. Isn’t it a spicy fan? Stick with light salsa and jump the chili and jalapeños powder. Easy!
