Only 4 simple ingredients and 10 grams of protein in this delicious recipe for Keto Strawberry strawberry cheese! This protein pudding uses boiled eggs, plus full fat cottage cheese for the best tasting cream with fresh strawberry cheese!

Boiled egg pudding
My good friend and my colleague Food Blogger Maria Emmerich, is the main behind this genius idea to add eggs to the pudding to get her son who hated eggs when he was a young child to enter more proteins.
You can read about her story and see her Budding recipe for boiled eggs Here.
I adapted from her recipe in 2020, when my daughter who also hates eggs came home from college. I started with the amount of boiled eggs that Maria uses in her recipe, but I discovered that the smell was a dead gift, at least for my family, so I started using scramble for pudding.
I have a few flavors from the chocolate pudding, the vanilla pudding and the banana pudding and now this simple recipe that also includes my love for cottage cheese recipes!
The reason why I used hard boiled eggs for this recipe was because I had remnants after I decorated them for Easter, but scramble eggs can be used.
Even if you are not a fan of cottage cheese or eggs, the best part is that you will not even taste in this Keto strawberry pudding!

High protein recipes
Although many online recipe creators now use box cheese as a secret ingredient in recipes, you need to check the ingredients well when it comes to Tiktok or Facebook and Instagram.
Many cottage cheese recipes can be high in protein, but still high in sugar or carbohydrates. I saw a lot on Tiktok- Make Recipes with cottage cheese, but full of sugar, maple syrup and refined white sugar.
All this should be avoided for a low carbohydrate or keto diet if you want to balance your blood sugar and control your cravings.
Our delicious strawberry pudding can be enjoyed for a healthy breakfast or snack. The printed recipe card is at the bottom of this page.

The best cottage cheese brands
The cottage cheese with full fat is the best for this pudding, whether 4% or 2% cottage cheese will give the best results.
You can find many options for cottage cheese at your local food stores, but specific brands vary in taste and creamy texture.
I do not recommend fat -free cottage cheese, because it will not be as satisfactory as a cottage with complete or creamy fat.
I like to use lactoseless box cheese, because my daughter and I have lactose intolerance. The brand that I like best is Green Valley Organic, but Lactaid is also an excellent brand, as well as the good brand of culture.
Just make sure -you get a simple cottage cheese and nothing with pineapple or other added ingredients.

Do I need collagen?
No, you can make this cottage cheese pudding without collagen, but it adds more proteins and has so many amazing benefits that I try to include 1-2 pure collagen pockets in my coffee, tea or smoothies.
Collagen benefits include improved cartilage tissue, reduced joint pain, improved bone density, improved hair and nail growth, supports leakage, reduced cellulite and improved mobility.
I use grass nourished Pure collagen from those nourished naturally line that is tested by the laboratory for purity to ensure that there are no heavy metals, including mercury, lead, cadmium and arsenic. Use Sugarfreemom10 to check out for a discount on this amazing collagen!

The recipe of chocolate cheese cheese pudding
If you love chocolate and strawberries together;
Add 2 tablespoons cocoa or cocoa powder unplug plus 1/2 teaspoon Liquid sweets with chocolate monk fruit.

Can I use a freshly different fruit?
Yes, if you want to replace the strawberries with another small carbohydrate grain, you can do this in the same amount. I would recommend blackberries, blueberries or raspberries.
