Traditional German chocolate cake recipe versus cheesecake creamy
A traditional German chocolate cake has a double -layer cake, with a coconut pecan freezing.
I did not want to go through the effort to turn a German cake into a low carbohydrate chocolate cake and then make cake layers and have to wait to cool before adding frost, I felt too much time, but I still wanted the same authentic flavors.
Ever since I was thinking about my mother’s day, I have opted for a decadent dessert recipe without baking, with less effort in the kitchen and using friendly ingredients that do not grow blood sugar for those with a low carbohydrate diet or a keto diet.

Frequent questions
Can I change the sugar substitute used?
If you do not want to use the sweetener of the monk fruit alouls, you can use any low carbohydrate sweetener, just make sure you use a confectionery style, not granular.
I highly recommend keeping in Fruits of liquid monk with chocolate For cheesecake mixture, as it will improve the chocolate aroma.
Please use my sweetener guide and conversion chart to help you decide how much to use instead of what they use in the recipe.
The best way to discover sugar -free sweeteners is to test different other recipes. Always taste the test before baking a keto dessert.
I have been without sugar for 17 years, so what I find sweet enough, may not be sweet enough for you and your family and friends. Finding the sweetener right for you will make a huge difference if you can make it a durable lifestyle or not.
The only thing I will warn is to always use a little about any sweetener, because you can always add more, if necessary, but you cannot take it if you use too much.

Can I use nuts instead of sunflower seeds?
If you do not have family allergies in the family, as I do, my youngest son being allergic to peanuts and tree nuts, do not hesitate to change the flower seeds -almonds, pecan or nuts.
You will see that my cheesecake has a pecan topping in photos and this is totally optional. I have chosen to add them since I knew that my son would not eat this, because he is not in chocolate cheesecake. Otherwise, this low carbohydrate dessert is completely without nuts.
Can I use unsweetened chocolate instead of chocolate chips without sugar?
I would not recommend using inanimate chocolate bars because they have no fat there and tend not to melt as well as chocolate chips without sugar or bars. You should also compensate for the addition of more sweeteners to this recipe.
Can I make this dairy free?
Yes, you can make this product of creamy chocolate cheese milk without changing cream cheese used for vegan cream cheese and changing heavy cream for preserved milk of coconut.
I do not recommend changing the heavy cream with almond milk, because it does not have enough fat and will not create a creamy texture for coconut freezing on top. Change the butter with melted coconut oil.
