Mix the chocolate until it melts, add the milk, then cool the ice cream until it is good and cold. Once the mixture is cool, pour it into the ice cream manufacturer and lift it.
You can make this ice cream with milk, semi-sweet or dark chocolate. However, as much as I like dark chocolate as a general rule, for a classic malt flavor, the lighter chocolate will provide the classic aroma.
You can enjoy the ice cream directly from the car for soft serving ice cream, or you can transfer to the freezer until it is firm enough to remove in cones or bowls.
