The French toast is so easy to do and we like this version of coconut.

❤️ Why do we like this recipe
We are great fans of the French toast, but sometimes, when you do it for a larger group, it takes a little time. This baked version truly comes at hand because you can put everything on a baking sheet and is made at the same time. If you followed for a period of time, we are great coconut fans, so this version was a victory.
Swaps
We like the vanilla extract in this recipe, but you can easily replace it. The almond extract would be delicious or consider making a different version and using lemon. The strawberries to garnish were what I had at hand, but any fruit would be a wonderful plus.

⭐tip
This French toast is super versatile; You could easily do this without coconut and fill it with pecans and powdered sugar, blueberries and honey or any topping you prefer. It is an excellent basic recipe with which you can do a lot.

Bake for 5 minutes and remove and overturn on the other side and bake for another 5 minutes. Remove and cut into slices of triangle. Top with strawberries and syrup. You can also add powdered sugar.
I greased the pan and then dropped some minced coconut for my slice of bread. It was difficult to wrap each part with coconut, so I put a few down on the pan, placed my slice soaked on it and then covered the top of the coconut piece.
